Finding the best area for your fire pit
When setting up your fire pit or fire table it is important to be aware of your surroundings you want to stay away from areas that have adjacent walls buildings or overhanging structures like tree branches or power lines. The majority of fire pits on the market are for outdoor use only which is for your safety and to prevent a fire hazard. Do not use a fire pit indoors if it is indicated for outdoor use. Make sure to place your fire pit on a solid surface such as hard wood decks concrete slabs to solid pavers. Be aware of anything that is combustible around your fire pit and eliminate any potential hazards. Combustible furniture such as wicker patio furniture should be far enough not to catch fire also remove any outdoor debris such as dried leaves loose paper or other outdoor items that have the potential to blow into the flame. You will want to maintain your gas fire pit for longevity gas burners do burn cleaner then wood but you still need to check the burner periodically and make sure it is clear from obstructions such as dirt or debris. It is recommended to clean your burner if it dirty it will extend the life of the burner it is safer because gas will flow free instead of pooling up below the pan and the flame and BTUs at their maximum potential.
