Radius Taper Planter

The sleek curved lines of the Radius Taper Planter are elegantly designed to draw the eye. The tapered planter is available in multiple metal options, choose from a quality marine grade aluminum, a heavy gauge corten steel or mild steel with natural rust finish.

The Radius Taper Planter will come with a standard with 1”drain hole, it is designed for year round use and can be directly planted into. Let us know at the time of your order if you need any custom drainage options. We are happy to assist you.

Taper Planter Finish Options:

Powder Coat Aluminum - The aluminum used for the Radius garden planter is made out of a marine grade 13 gauge 5052 aluminum. This alloy is ideal for planters because its light weight really strong and is a low maintenance material. This aluminum alloy is the perfect solution for coastal or harsh environments because it does not rust. It is available in 8 standard powder coat finishes as well as the oxidized zinc finish. The oxidized aluminum finish option resembles the look of an old world zinc patina but with out the toxicity of lead.
Corten Steel - The Corten, or weathering steel, option for the radius taper planter is made out of a 14 gauge thick 606 alloy. This steel is common in architectural elements, this and is admired for its unique rust finish and weathering qualities. This ultra durable steel is perfect for all outdoor environments, and is widely used for commercial applications. Corten planters are available only in a natural rust finish, and will continue to change and patina with time.
Mild Steel - Mild steel planters are made out of a 14 gauge thick hot rolled steel. Mild steel is a very durable and a more cost effective solution vs corten steel, this metal is valued for its unique rustic appearance, and will continue to change and rust in the outdoor elements. Mild steel products will arrive un-rusted and will start to patina right away.

Note: Natural rust steel planters will bleed color to light or porous surfaces and are not recommended in areas where staining would be a concern.

The Radius Taper Planter has a 5 year limited warranty on its structure against manufacturer’s defects and a 3 year warranty on the powder coating finish.

Powder Coated Aluminum and Natural Rust Steel products have a 5 year limited warranty on their structure. The finish on the Powder Coated Aluminum containers have a 3 year limited warranty. The warranty on wood products is 1 year. There is no warranty on the structure and finish of any wood burning fire pits due to the variables of a wood burning fire. The powder coating may scorch and the metal may change shape under extreme wood burning fire conditions. In the event of a warranty claim, the owner will be required to provide proof of purchase and a sales receipt verifying the date. The manufacturer, at its option, may repair or replace the product to good working condition by using new or refurbished components. If repair is not possible, we will replace or refund the items when applicable. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the product prior to replacement or repair of the product.
