Metal Cylinder Planter

This circular metal planter is handmade in Salt Lake City, Utah by true artisans with a dedication to their craft producing only the highest quality planters available. The Cylinder Planter can be fabricated out or your choice of, a high quality marine grade aluminum, 14 gauge corten steel or a mild steel with a natural rust patina. This planter is made to be directly planted into, and does not require grow pots or liners.

The Cylinder Planter qualifies for LEED points in the following categories:

Recycled Metal Content – 47%-66% in both steel and aluminum
Emits Low VOC (volatile organic compounds) during the finish process

Metal Finish Options For The Cylinder Planter:

Aluminum- The aluminum option for this planter is a quality marine grade 13 gauge thick 5052 alloy. This high quality aluminum is a prefect material for planters, as it is light weight, very strong and a low maintenance rust free finish. This metal is ideal for coastal high-corrosive environments and is available in your choice of 8 standard powder coated finishes as well as the oxidized zinc patina finish.
Corten Steel- The Corten finish option for the planter is made out of a 14 gauge thick steel. This high quality steel is widely used for its natural rust finish and natural protective qualities. It is an ultra durable material that can be used for commercial or residential projects and is made to withstand all outdoor environments. Corten steel planters will rust and bleed and will continue to develop over time.
Mild Steel- Mild steel garden planters are made from a 14 gauge hot rolled mild steel. Mild steel is a more cost effective solution vs corten steel, but is still very durable and great for all outdoor environments. This steel will form a nice rustic finish and will continue to patina and change over time. The steel planters are only available in their natural rust finish.

Note: If a steel option is chosen for the planter it will transfer rust to light colored surfaces. If this is a concern we recommend going with one of the Aluminum finishes.

Powder Coated Aluminum and Natural Rust Steel products have a 5 year limited warranty on their structure. The finish on the Powder Coated Aluminum containers have a 3 year limited warranty. The warranty on wood products is 1 year. There is no warranty on the structure and finish of any wood burning fire pits due to the variables of a wood burning fire. The powder coating may scorch and the metal may change shape under extreme wood burning fire conditions. In the event of a warranty claim, the owner will be required to provide proof of purchase and a sales receipt verifying the date. The manufacturer, at its option, may repair or replace the product to good working condition by using new or refurbished components. If repair is not possible, we will replace or refund the items when applicable. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the product prior to replacement or repair of the product.
