Bar Planter
The thin and high stature of the Bar Planter makes it ideal for placement on roof top terraces and patios because it can provide needed privacy. These large rectangular planters are also great to use alongside railings on balconies or for placement against blank walls to dress them up. The Bar Garden Planter is available in multiple metal finishes; your choice of either powder coated marine grade aluminum, 14 gauge corten steel, or hot rolled mild steel with a natural rust patina.
The Bar Planter is water tight and is designed to be directly planted into, no need for grow pots or liners.

Planter Material and Finish Options:
-
Aluminum - The marine grade 5052 aluminum option for the Bar Planter is light weight and exceptionally strong. This low maintenance alloy is the perfect solution for highly corrosive environments, or for placement on porous or easily stained surfaces because it will not rust. The aluminum options comes in 8 standard powder coat finishes or the oxidized zinc patina finish.
-
CorTen - Corten steel is an extremely durable metal that has a natural quality which protects itself from rusting all the way through. The corten option for this planter is made from heavy 14 gauge steel, it will arrive raw and un-rusted and will start to patina right away when left outdoors.
-
Mild Steel - The Mild steel planters are made from a heavy gauge hot rolled mild steel. This steel is a more cost effective solution vs corten and will patina into a bronze rustic appearance. Mild steel works well in all outdoor environments and is strong enough for commercial projects. The mild steel option for this planter will arrive raw and un-rusted and will start to rust and patina right away when left outdoors.
Note: Corten and mild steel planters do rust and will transfer color to light surfaces. Its not recommended to use natural rust steels in areas where staining would be a concern.
